About natural stone

The natural stone is one of the most beautiful and ecological materials used in construction nowadays. There are many kinds of natural stones, each of them with different properties and, correspondingly, each of them is appropriate for different uses.
Fashion in furnishing and interior design changes, but, invariably, the natural stone reigns again, returning after a year or two.
There are different kinds of stone, some of them appropriate for facades, others for flooring, others for interior design, and there are also roofing tiles, which make the building unique and last forever.
The choice among colours, sizes, and features, is immense.
The tiling stones that we offer come in various sizes, shapes, and colour selection. They are highly cold resistant, have low moisture absorption, and high resilience to wearing off.
Characteristics of the natural stones
They are very strong and sturdy, not affected by acids or other chemical substances. They do not change their colour.
They are known for their excellent indicators in cold resistance and resistance to wearing off. Some of the stones are also distinguished by heat and noise insulation properties.
We should also mention here the unique decorative qualities – each slab has unmatched individuality, appearance, and warmth.
Advantages to the natural stones.
It is almost impossible to find another construction material with characteristics coming even close to those of the natural stone. Witness to that are the thousands of years of resilience to weathering natural conditions.
On the one hand, each artificially man-made product loses its initial characteristics within a short period of time, and on the other, the investments made into it are not necessarily smaller than those needed for using natural stone. The frequency with which natural slabs need to be refreshed is many times smaller as compared to other plating materials.
Choice among the kinds of natural stones
The basic criterion in the choice of stone is its purpose. Natural products have different application depending on their characteristics. For the covering of facades, it is necessary to choose cold-resilient slabs with as little weight as possible.
The moisture absorption coefficient is also of great importance. If the building is planned to have a dado, sturdier stone is needed (e.g., gneiss).
